Berk Ugurlu and Can Maxim Mutaf were removed from the preliminary roster of the Turkish national team that now includes 16 players.

Turkey’s head coach Ufuk Sarica crossed out the names of Berk Ugurlu (Fenerbahce) and Can Maxim Mutaf (Besiktas) from his list of players ahead of the EuroBasket.

The preliminary roster of the Turkish national team now has the following 16 players: Cedi Osman (Cleveland Cavaliers), Doğuş Balbay (Anadolu Efes), Furkan Korkmaz (Philadelphia 76ers), Tolga Geçim (Banvit), Erkan Veyseloglu (Besiktas), Sertac Sanh (Besiktas), Kenan Sipahi (Besiktas), Furkan Aldemir (Darussafaka), Bobby Dixon (Fenerbahce), Melih Mahmutoglu (Fenerbahce), Baris Hersek (Fenerbahce), Sinan Guler (Fenerbahce), Goksenin Koksal (Galatasaray), Metin Turen (Pinar Karsiyaka), Omer Faruk Yurtseven (North Carolina State) and Semih Erden.

Turkey hosts Group D (Serbia, Russia, Latvia, Belgium, Great Britain) of the EuroBasket and the knock-out stages of the tournament.
