Chris Fleming chose to cut Bastian Doreth from his final roster, days ahead of EuroBasket.
“It was an extremely difficult decision but I am convinced that we have to go with five big man” the coach of the National Team”, the head coach stated.

Ismet Akpinar, Danilo Barthel, Robin Benzing, Isaiah Hartenstein, Patrick Heckmann, Maodo Lo , Dennis Schröder, Lucca Staiger, Karsten Tadda, Daniel Theis, Johannes Thiemann and Johannes Voigtmann.
