A team effort from De Zeeuw, Gillet, Tabu and Van Rossom lifts Belgium over Great Britain in the first game of Eurobasket Day 2.

It was a close game until the last quarter, with Belgium getting a six point lead at the start of the fourth period and keeping that lead until the end, for the 103-90 win.

The star: Sam Van Rossom, was the star of this game with 19 points and 5 assists. He had a huge impact on the game and led his team to victory. Maxim De Zeeuw also added 21 points and 7 rebounds and Jonathan Tabu had 18 points.

The turning point: The game was really close through the first 27 minutes, but at the end of the third quarter the Belgians build a six-point lead that was significant at the flow of the game. The fourth quarter was all about Belgium which led for the first time with 10 or more points. It was all about offense, Great Britain couldn’t keep up and the game was over.

Not enough: For the British, Gabriel Olaseni was spectacular to watch with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Daniel Clark had also a big game with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
