The Romanian forward achieved the first triple-double in a Eurobasket since Kucoc’s era with 14 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds!
To be exact Toni Kukoc is one of the two other players who had registered a triple-double in a Eurobasket and that happened 22 years ago.
In Eurobasket 1995, the Croatian legend had 15 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists against Finland.
An other Croatian legend, center Stojko Vrankovic had also a triple double in Eurobasket 1993 with 12 points, 13 rebounds and 10 blocks in the 3rd place game against Greece.
