Sergio Scariolo gave a little insight on how his team’s plan for big guys should be taken more into consideration from the opponents: “The only concern is that our big men deserve a bit more respect in terms of contacts interpretation. Frankly, I’ve been through all kind of games and I feel that there’s some kind of misunderstanding in the opponents’ strategy. I feel that they [Spain’s big guys] deserve more respect in terms of what the opponents try to do.”

As for the refs, Scariolo was positive: “I think they’re doing their best and will do that in the next games as well.”

“At this point it doesn’t matter if you win by 12, 8 or 10”, continued the coach, who’s ready to face the upcoming semifinal battle, Spain’s 10th in a row.
