Rytas Vilnius outlasted Galatasaray Doga Sigorta Istanbul on the road and with an 89-73 victory, they improved their record in the EuroCup Top 16 round to 1-1.
Eimantas Bendzius led the Lithuanian side with 21 points, three rebounds, while Pako Cruz posted 19 points.
Galatasaray‘s Aaron Harrison and Alex Poythress added 22 and 19 points each, even though the Turkish side also fell to a 1-1 record.
The visiting side stayed in control of the game from start to finish, with their third-period breakout (72-54 after 30’) was the crucial point towards this victory in Istanbul.
Earlier this week, AS Monaco defeated UNICS Kazan 84-78.
