Berkan Durmaz scored 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds, Tarik Phillip added 17 points as well and Tofas Bursa beat Morabanc Andorra 69 – 63 on the road to improve its EuroCup Top 16 record to 2-0.
Dejan Musli (13 points) and Jeremy Senglin (10 points) scored in double figures for Andorra. The hosts were leading 57 – 51 with eight minutes to play until Tofas began a comeback that brought them up 63 – 65 thanks to a triple by Baris Ermis. The Turkish side kept its opponents scoreless in the last four minutes in the game.
In Tuesday’s (14/1) game, Unicaja Malaga defeated fellow Spanish team Joventut Badalona behind Deon Thompson’s 23 points.
