Promitheas Patras bounced back on the road and prevailed over Umana Reyer Venice with a 70-52 victory in Round 4 of 7DAYS EuroCup’s Top 16.

Loukas Mavrokefalidis paced the Greek team with a double-double of 28 points and 13 rebounds in 30 minutes of action for a total PIR of 37, an overall game-high.

On the other end, Jeremy Chappell was the only Venice player to finish the game in double digits with 12 points.

Promitheas started the game strong, taking a 41-27 lead at halftime, while their defensive effort paid off in the third quarter, as Venice only posted 9 points (54-36). Mavrokefalidis made sure to keep the visiting side in control for the remainder of the game, as they finally grabbed their second victory in the Top 16 round (a tie with Venice in Group F’s standings).
