All quarterfinals teams are set and before the Top 16 round ended, Devin Williams claimed this week’s MVP honors for his performance vs. MoraBanc Andorra.

Devin Williams of Tofas Bursa turned in another monster performance in his team’s Top 16 finale against MoraBanc Andorra to clinch MVP honors for Round 6 of the Top 16. The big man amassed 22 points on 8-of-10 two-point shooting plus 6-of-7 from the foul line.

He added 6 rebounds and 3 steals in compiling a performance index rating of 32, which was the best of the round. He narrowly edged Promitheas Patras’s Langston Hall for that distinction after the latter went for 20 points and 8 assists in a playoff-clinching victory at EWE Baskets Oldenburg. Hall finished with a personal best PIR of 31.

The third-highest PIR for Round 6 was 29, which came from Umana Reyer Venice’s Andrea Di Nicolao. The veteran guard went for 16 points and 9 assists in the clutch victory at Germani Brescia Leonessa. Rounding out the list of the round’s top performers were Loukas Mavrokefalidis of Promitheas and Zach Auguste of Galatasaray Doga Sigorta Istanbul. Mavrokefalidis went for 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for a PIR of 28 and Auguste had 22 points and 7 rebounds for a PIR of 26 against Rytas Vilnius.

Individual leaders: Aaron Craft of Dolomiti Energia Trento, 5 steals

Unicaja Malaga guard Dario Brizuela was Round 6’s top scorer with a personal-best 23 points. Segafredo Virtus Bologna’s Milos Teodosic finished as the best scorer in the Top 16 with 19.2 points per game. Wilfried Yeguete of AS Monaco hauled in 12 rebounds to lead the Round 6 charts. Devin Williams was the phase’s leading rebounder with 7.8 per game. Gary Browne’s 11 assists for Darussafaka Tekfen Istanbul were the Round-6 high. Stefan Markovic of Virtus averaged 6.0 assists per game, which was best in the Top 16. In his final EuroCup game, Aaron Craft of Dolomiti Energia Trento had 5 steals and went out as the Top 16 leader with 2.5 steals per game. Unicaja big man Deon Thompson blocked 3 shots, which led all Round 6 players. Julian Gamble of Virtus led the Top 16 in that category with 1.3 blocks per game. There were three double-doubles in the round: Dimitris Agravanis (11 points, 10 rebounds) of Promitheas, Browne (14 points, 11 assists) and Craft (14 points, 10 assists).
