Partizan Belgrade president Ostoja Mijailovic sent a letter to EuroLeague Basketball, confirming that Partizan wants to host the EuroCup Final Eight if a decision will be taken that the competition will finish with such a tournament, according to Sporski Zurnal.

Mijailovic had previously proposed the idea that Partizan could organize a EuroCup Final Eight tournament if it’s the “only solution” to conclude the season.

In the letter, Mijailovic reiterated the fact that Partizan has earned homecourt advantage in the entirety of the playoffs after the completion of the Top 16 as a factor that makes it “fair” for the Serbian powerhouse to host a Final Eight.

Virtus Bologna has also reported being willing to host a Final Eight in EuroCup.
