Rytas Vilnius is strongly considering a move from 7DAYS EuroCup to Basketball Champions League next season, according to reports by Donatas Urbonas. If the Lithuanian club ultimately decides to make the jump to BCL, Lietkabelis Panevezys could replace them in EuroCup.

As further reported by lrytas.lt, Rytas has been negotiating with BCL executives for some time. The team has to submit all needed paperwork to EuroCup for next season until May 20 at noon, though this is unlikely to happen.

Rytas is already planning ahead for next season, as they announced they have launched talks both with players and coach Dainius Adomaitis. On top of that, a few days prior, former sports director of the club Linas Kleiza conveyed his shares and was replaced by Rolandas Jarutis.
