Buducnost VOLI will keep Petar Mijovic for the upcoming season, the Montenegrin club announced on Saturday.
Mijovic joined Buducnost through the U19 squad back in 2017. After moving to the senior squad, he was named interim head coach for the conclusion of the 2018-19 season and took over for the second time at the start of the 2019-20 season.
The past campaign, shortened due to the coronavirus pandemic, featured his side second in the ABA League with a 15-6 record up to the early conclusion of the season. As for 7DAYS EuroCup, Buducnost failed to qualify for the Top 16.
The 2020-21 editions of EuroCup and ABA are expected to be the competitions the Montenegrin team focuses on moving forward.
