The Antwerp Giants submitted an application to participate in next season’s EuroCup in addition to the one the club made for the 2020-2021 Basketball Champions League, the team announced. The Belgian club applied for a BCL wild card due to winning the 2020 domestic Cup title.
In 2017, Antwerp played in the Basketball Champions League Qualifying Rounds and then the regular season from 2018 through 2020. They also made and hosted the 2018-2019 BCL Final Four, winning third place.
Antwerp previously played in EuroCup once, in 2007-2008.
