Unics Kazan announced the addition of American forward/center Jordan Morgan. The player signed a 1+1 deal with the Russian EuroCup powerhouse.

Morgan considered the Unics offer as the best he had among several good options. He was the top target of Panathinaikos for a month but the talks between the two sides didn’t result in a deal due to the uncertainty of the Greek club regarding next season’s budget.

In 2019-2020, Morgan averaged 12.4 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 steals in 23:43 minutes in the Turkish BSL League with Pinar Karsiyaka. He used his opt-out clause on the contract in order to continue his career in Russia.

The 28-years old center started his career with Roma in Italy, he also played for Paris-Levallois in France, for Kymi in Greece, Olimpija in Slovenia and also Banvit in Turkey.
