Gran Canaria signed shooting guard Amedeo Della Valle for the 2020-2021 season, the Spanish club announced. The Italian player was a free agent after parting ways with Olimpia Milano.
Della Valle, 27, finished the 2019-2020 season with 5.9 points in 11:59 minutes over 21 games in EuroLeague. He shot 50% on 30 3-point attempts.
By signing with Gran Canaria, Della Valle will play outside of Italy and in Spain for the first time in his career while returning to EuroCup. In his previous stint in the competition with Reggio Emilia in 2017-2018, he was named to the All-First Team.
