Trento has signed big man Luke Maye for the upcoming season, as the club announced Saturday.
Maye (2.03 meters, 23 years old) arrives from Wisconsin of the G-League, where he averaged 10.7 points and 7.4 rebounds in 34 games last season. Maye was making his professional debut after playing four years with North Carolina of the NCAA.
He helped North Carolina win the 2017 NCAA college basketball national title and finished his final two seasons averaging a double-double in 2017-18 and 2018-19. He will be making his debuts in Europe and the 7DAYS EuroCup.
