AS Monaco announced that the club signed EuroLeague veteran center Vladimir Stimac. The Serbian big man had announced that he’s parting ways with Crvena Zvezda Friday (21/8).

“Monaco is a very good team and a club that was recommended by all players who have played there. They also have a very good coach,” Stimac said per Monaco. “I’m more than happy to join them. I can’t wait to start working with the whole squad.”

Stimac averaged 11.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 22.9 minutes over 13 EuroLeague games with Red Stat before the season’s cancelation. He had begun 2019-2020 with Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce Beko.
