The 2020-21 7DAYS EuroCup season tipped off with Dolomiti Energia Trento grabbing a 93-86 road win against Frutti Extra Bursaspor in Group D.

Jacorey Williams put on 19 points on 9-13 shooting and 11 rebounds while Gary Browne followed with 17 points, ten assists and five boards. Victor Sanders also had an all-around performance with 15 points, five assists and five boards.

For the Turkish side, Daniel Hamilton scored 19 points on 5-7 from deep while also grabbing eight rebounds in addition to Malik Newman’s 17 and Xavier Munfords 14 points. Munford also dished seven assists.

The game didn’t start off in favor of the Italian team as Brusaspor went up 29-19 by the end of the first quarter and 49-40 at halftime.

However, Trento figured it out and great ball movement along with the control of the paint allowed them to turn the tables after the break, leading at the end of third 67-65. The game stayed close (82-82) but Trento was simply too much down the stretch, closing the match with an 11-4 run led by its dynamic duo.
