UNICS prevailed easily over Partizan in Round 3 and Joventut remains the only perfect club in EuroCup Group A

Joventut Badalona stayed perfect three games into the new 7DAYS EuroCup season with a 91-72 victory against Bahcesehir on the road.

Multi-experienced Ante Tomic led the Spanish club with 21 points and 8 boards, as Nenad Dimitrijevic posted 13 points and 8 assists.  Conor Morgan had 10 points and 8 assists as well for Badalona.

Bahcesehir’s Erick Green finished the game with a team-high performance of 14 points, two rebounds, while Ismet Akpinar added 13 points. The Turkish club has yet to score a victory into the new season.

UNICS Kazan improved to a 2-1 record with a stunning 93-70 win over visiting Partizan NIS Belgrade, paced behind big-time performances by Isaiah Canaan and Jordan Morgan.

Cannan exited the game with 23 points, four assists and three rebounds, while Morgan had 22 points and 8 boards to push the Russian team to the victory.

Nikola Jankovic led all Partizan scorers with 12 points, four rebounds, as Codi Miller-McIntyre recorded 10 points and 7 steals for the Serbian club. Following this defeat, Partizan falls to a 1-2 record.

It is to be noted that Round 3’s game between Umana Reyer Venezia and Bourg En Bresse has been canceled, due to the recent COVID-19 developments in the French team.
