Unicaja Malaga announced that a member of the team tested positive for coronavirus in both the first and the follow-up tests and was isolated from the rest of the squad. All other Malaga members tested negative and team practices are continuing as planned.

This was the second confirmed coronavirus case on a Spanish team Friday after San Pablo Burgos announced that Jordan Sakho has COVID-19.

Malaga is facing Gran Canaria Sunday (18/10) on the road for the Spanish ACB League and then will be hosting German Brescia for Round 4 of the EuroCup regular season next Wednesday (21/10).
