Mornar Bar went almost silent for a key stretch in the final period.

Boulogne Metropolitans defeated Mornar Bar 78 – 65 to capture its second consecutive win in the EuroCup regular season and improve its record to 2-2 in Group B. Mornar has the same win/losses.

Rob Gray (16 points), Vitalis Chikoko (14 points), Anthony Brown (11 points, six assists) and Tomer Ginat (10 points) scored in double figures and led an overall balanced effort by Metropolitans. The French team led from near start to finish and went up by 15, 50 – 35, in the mid of the third period.

Mornar came back to make it 59 – 54 heading into the fourth period but its offense crumbled, scoring six points in the next five minutes as its opponents once again took a double-digit lead.

Jacob Pullen scored 22 points and Isaiah Whitehead had 18 points and six assists for Mornar. Taylor Smith posted 11 points and eight rebounds while Kenny Gabriel finished with a double-double of 10 points and 11 boards.
