Virtus Bologna remains the only undefeated team in Group C of EuroCup

Virtus Segafredo Bologna defeated visiting AS Monaco 94-85 to remain the only undefeated team in Group C of 7DAYS EuroCup after 4 rounds.

Vince Hunter stepped up in crunch time to pace the efforts of the Italian team and finished the game with a team-high performance of 20 points. Julian Gamble added 19 points, as Milos Teodosic touched double-double figures with 12 points and 12 assists.

Monaco put up a strong effort, behind Damien Inglis’ 17-point performance. Darral Willis tapped 14 points, Marcos Knight and Matthias Lessort shared 12 points apiece.

Kevin Harvey paced Lokomotiv Kuban to a 76-61 victory against MoraBanc Andorra with his double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds, as the Russian side improved to a 3-1 record. Will Cummings and Alan Williams followed his lead with 11 and 10 points each.

Andorra’s David Jelinek and Haukur Palsson were the only players in double digits for the Spanish team, with 13 and 12 points respectively.

Earlier in the day, Lietkabelis registered its first victory of the season after beating Telenet Giants Antwerp 80-73 at home. Gytis Masiulis set sights for the MVP honors of the round with a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds for a total PIR of 38, leading all scorers of the Lithuanian team. Paulius Valinskas followed with 17 points and five rebounds.

On the opposing end, Kenneth Smith led Antwerp with 15 points, 8 assists, while Ibrahima Faye had 14 points and 9 boards.
