Virtus Bologna remains undefeated into the new EuroCup season

Virtus Segafredo Bologna stays perfect five rounds into the new season and on top of the EuroCup Group C standings after defeating Telenet Antwerp Giants 95-76 in Round 5 of 7DAYS EuroCup.

Josh Adams paced Virtus to its fifth straight victory with 24 points, four rebounds, while Milos Teodosic tapped 15 points and 7 assists. Amar Alibegovic and Vince Hunter followed with 12 and 10 points each.

Kenneth Smith and Ibrahima Faye tapped 16 points each, though Antwerp has yet to register a win in the regular season.

MoraBanc Andorra prevailed over visiting Lietkabelis Panavezys 76-66 to grab its second victory of the season.

Tyson Perez led all scorers of the Spanish club with 16 points and three assists, as Jeremy Senglin also finished the game in double digits with 13 points.

Short-staffed Lietkabelis had Kyle Vinales scoring 23 points, Margiris Normandas adding 12 and Marin Maric nearly touching double-double figures with 11 points and 8 boards.

The Lithuanian side suffered its fourth defeat and remains second to last in the Group C standings with a 1-4 record.
