Lietkabelis won’t be able to play its next EuroCup game.

Lietkabelis announced that nine team members have tested positive for coronavirus over the last couple of days. As a result, the upcoming EuroCup game against Virtus Bologna Wednesday (4/11) won’t take place and will be rescheduled.

On Friday, two players of Lietkabelis tested positive for COVID-19. The team underwent further tests during the weekend that revealed nine more cases: six on players and three on members of the staff. All infected persons are in isolation.

Lietkabelis is the second European team that announced a large number of coronavirus cases Sunday (1/11). Earlier, Reggio Emilia informed that eleven players in total tested positive for coronavirus.
