Bourg captures its second straight victory while Bahcesehir remains winless in EuroCup.

JL Bourg defeated Bahcesehir 79 – 77 at home to register its second consecutive win in EuroCup and improve to 3-1 in Group A. For Bahcesehir, this was the sixth loss in six games.

The game had a thrilling finish that was decided mainly by the go-ahead layup by Alen Omic (nine points, 12 rebounds) for the 77 – 76 with 26 seconds to play after a pretty pass by Zach Wright (17 points, seven assists, five rebounds)). These two players were among the top contributors of Bourg, alogn with Danilo Andjusic (15 points) and Pierre Pelos (14 points, seven rebounds).

Ismet Akpinar, who previously hit the jumper for the 75 – 76, missed the floater and the Turkish side lost in yet another match. The Turkish team had come back from down 10 (45-35) and went up 54 – 58 late in the third period.

Akpinar finished with 17 points while Erick Green dropped a game-high 27 points while finishing with five steals for Bahcesehir.
