Partizan Belgrade announced that Saso Filipovski has been hired as head coach. Filipovski will make his debut in the upcoming ABA League game of his new team against Zadar Saturday (7/11).
Filipovksi last coached AS Monaco in 2018-2019. He was previously at the helm of such teams as Banvit, Olimpija Lubljana, Zielona Gora and Lottomatica Roma.
Partizan began the season with Vlado Skepanovic as head coach. The latter was removed from the position following “poor results” as Partizan states. The Serbiam team is 2-3 in EuroCup and 2-3 in ABA.
