Unicaja Malaga bounced back from last week’s defeat to overcome visiting Mornar Bar with a 98-72 victory in Round 7 of 7DAYS EuroCup.
The Spanish team stayed in charge after a powerful 27-16 start in the game and got away with a 20-point lead by halftime. Axel Bouteille led all Unicaja scorers with 16 points and three assists, as Dario Brizuela and Francis Alonso posted 14 points each.
Mornar suffered its third loss in six games and was paced behind a 15-point performance by Marko Jeremic. Nemanja Vranjes had 14 points and four assists while Taylor Smith completed the list of scorers in double digits with 10 points.
Earlier in the round, Ulm defeated Brescia while the scheduled game between Buducnost Voli Podgorica and Boulogne Metropolitans 92 has been suspended and set to be rescheduled for a later date.
