Reyer Venezia announced that the total number of coronavirus cases among team members has now increased to 11 after the results of the most recent tests returned this morning.

Earlier this week, Venezia was forced to suspend all of its activities following multiple team members testing positive for COVID-19. All individuals that contracted coronavirus are in isolation.

Venezia’s EuroCup game vs. Partizan Belgrade was rescheduled and this will likely also be the case for next week’s match against JL Bourg.

The last game of Venezia took place in Kazan, Russia against Unics in November 4. In recent comments, Venezia coach Walter De Raffaele said that some of his players asked him during that match if he could intervene for the fans to put masks on.
