The French club is making a strong push for the Top 16 round

Boulogne Metropolitans 92 made a strong push for the Top 16 with a 72-65 victory over ratiopharm Ulm in 7DAYS EuroCup Round 8 and improved to a 5-2 record after winning their fifth straight.

Bastian Pinault paced the efforts of the French team with 21 points, Assem Marei posted a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds and Anthony Brown had 11 points.

Ulm’s Per Guenther led the way with 13 points and Isaiah Wilkins tapped 11 points, as the German team falls to a 3-5 record in Group B’s standings.

Action continues Wednesday as Buducnost hosts top-seeded Unicaja Malaga and Brescia faces Mornar Bar.
