Joventut Badalona announced that Simon Birgander’s contract was extended until June 2023. The Swedish forward’s contract was previously set to expire in 2022.
“I’m very happy to renew with a club that has helped me a lot,” Birgander said per Joventut.
Birgander, who arrived at Badalona at 19 years of age in 2007, has been averaging 6.4 points and 6.1 rebounds in 19:37 minutes in the 2020-2021 EuroCup season so far, plus 7.3 points and 3.7 rebounds in 13:17 minutes in Spanish ACB League.
