Virtus Bologna came back from 19 points down to beat AS Monaco 68 – 84 on the road and win Group C as currently the only undefeated team in EuroCup. The game took place in the aftermath  of Bologna coach Sasha Djordjevic first getting fired and then rejoining the team in a span of 24 hours.

Julian Gamble dropped 15 points, Kyle Weems scored 14 and Milos Teodosic had 12 for Bologna. Dee Bost led Monaco with 17 points while Marcos Knight pitched in 13 points and seven assists.

Despite the loss, Monaco still got the ticket to the Top 16 due to Antwerp Giants’ 96 – 77 win over Lietkabelis. It was the first victory for the Belgian team this season in EuroCup and it arrived mainly thanks to Kenneth Smith’s 23 points.

Kyle Vinales had 18 points for Lietkabelis that still has a chance to advance with two rounds left.

Meanwhile in Spain, Lokomotiv Kuban won the shootout against Andorra 106 – 100, powered by the trio of Kevin Hervey (23 points, 13 rebounds), Jordan Crawford (23 points) and Will Cummings (20 points).

Haukur Palsson (18 points) and Clevin Hannah (18 points) were Andorra’s top contributors.
