Unicaja Malaga made an offer to center Greg Monroe according to Eurohoops sources. The former NBA big man has been a free agent after parting ways with Khimki Moscow earlier this month.
As of now, Monroe is undecided on whether to accept Malaga’s offer or not. The American center isn’t eligible to play in EuroLeague for the rest of 2020-2021.
Before he left Khimki, Monroe was averaging 10.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 20:11 minutes over nine games in EuroLeague. He had 16.0 points and 6.8 rebounds in 19:28 minutes over six VTB league matches.
Malaga is currently 0-3 in the EuroCup Top 16 and in danger of facing an early elimination. In Spain, the team stands at 9 – 12 and the ninth place on the standings after suffering six straight losses.
