Herbalife Gran Canaria announced Friday that a player of the squad has tested positive for COVID-19 after the medical tests carried out this week.
The player is asymptomatic and remains self-isolated, while further testing in the team confirmed there were no additional cases.
Gran Canaria faces Mornar on the road on Tuesday for the return of the 7DAYS EuroCup Top 16.
