Matthias Lessort posted a new career-high with 24 points as Monaco sealed the last remaining ticket to the 7DAYS EuroCup semifinals with a 90-87 victory in Game 3 against Buducnost Voli Podgorica.

After an intense battle that lasted for 40 minutes, the French side will now hope to continue its stellar season when they face off Gran Canaria for a place in the finals.

Marcos Knight finished the game with a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds for Zvezdan Mitrovic’s squad and Dee Bost also had 11 points.

Buducnost fought hard to extend its trip into the 2020-21 season, though slipped their second straight game against the French, to exit the competition with a total 9-10 record.

Justin Cobbs had 17 points for the Podgorica side and Willie Reed posted 16, while Nikola Ivanovic and Amadeo Della Valle had 11 points each.
