Artem Pustovyi leaves Barcelona but stays in Spain.

Gran Canaria officially signed center Artem Pustovyii for the upcoming season. Pustovyi last played with Barcelona fro 2018 to 2021.

Per EuroCup Basketball:

Herblife Gran Canaria bolstered its frontcourt by signing center Artem Pustovyi for the 2021-22 season, the club announced on Friday. Pustovyi (2.18 meters, 29 years old) arrives from FC Barcelona, where he averaged 2.8 points on 69.6% two-point shooting and 1.2 rebounds in 15 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season. He helped Barcelona win the Spanish League and Cup double and reach the EuroLeague championship game last season. Pustovyi also lifted the Spanish Cup with Barcelona in 2019.

Pustovyi began his career with Khimik in his native Ukraine and spent five seasons with its senior team, including the 2013-14 campaign, in which he competed in the 7DAYS EuroCup. He led Khimik to the 2015 Ukrainian League title. Pustovyi moved to Spain in 2015 and played there for three seasons with Monbus Obradoiro. He has also represented the Ukrainian national team.
