Valencia announced that Mike Tobey has undergone surgery and is expected to go through a four-week recovery.
“Valencia Basket center Mike Tobey has undergone surgery today for the discomfort in the pubis that he had been dragging on since May of this year and that had not responded adequately to the physiotherapy treatment. The intervention has been carried out successfully in Munich and a recovery period of about four weeks is expected,” the announcement read.
Tobey played two games earlier in the season against Barcelona and Baskonia on November 11th and 18th and was sidelined for almost two months. He scored nine and 12 points respectively.
