The 7DAYS EuroCup started off this week with a bit of a different schedule as just two games were on the program, one from each group.

Umana Reyer Venice and Buducnost VOLI opened the night with Mitchell Watt leading the Italians to a 72-67 home win in Group B. Buducnost is still topping the standings with 3-1 while Venice improved to 2-2.

Watt shot 11-14 from the field on his way to 25 points – including the dagger with 14 seconds left – while also grabbing seven rebounds. Victor Sanders helped out with 11 and Stefano Tonut with ten points.

For the Montenegrin squad, DJ Seeley scored 18 in addition to Justin Cobbs and Edin Atic’s 12 points each. It should be noted that Willie Reed played less than a minute before having to exit the court, reportedly due to a muscle injury.

Meanwhile, Boulogne Metropolitans 92 were victorious against Dolomiti Energia Trento with 93-80 at home in Group A. The French team now holds a 2-2 record while Trento stayed winless with at 0-4.

Will Cummings led the way with 17 points and eight assists for the winners while Jordan McRae scored 14. Vince Hunter, Tomer Ginat, David Michineau added 11 points each.

Cameron Reynolds logged 18 for Trento followed by Jonathan Williams with 16 and Jordan Caroline with 13 points.
