Cedevita Olimpija and guard Marcus Keen mutually agreed for the termination of the player’s contract, the Slovenian club announced.
The announcement by Cedevita mentions that Keene “didn’t meet the expectations of the club’s professional staff and management so the team and he broke up.”
Keene arrived at Cedevita as the leading scorer of the 2020-21 VTB League with Kalev/Cramo. In four EuroCup games, he averaged 9.0 points in 15.0 minutes, scoring a season-high 20 in a win over Bourg. In ABA League, the American player had 13.1 points and 4.0 assists in 21.7 minutes.
