NBA veteran big man Kostas Koufos won’t be joining Reyer Venezia due to the COVID-19 regulations travel restrictions in Italy, per Marc Stein. The Greek-American big man will remain a free agent.
Koufos, 32, last played with the NBA G league ignite. He was previously a member of Olympiacos Piraeus while spending 2019-2020 with CSKA Moscow in his first stint in Europe and EuroLeague.
Throughout 11 years in the NBA from 2008 to 2019, Koufos has averaged 5.7 points and 5.0 rebounds over 686 regular-season games with the Utah Jazz, Minnesota Timberwolves, Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies and the Sacramento Kings.
