Errick McCollum scored 30 points and dished out six assists as Lokomotiv Kuban defeated Morabanc Andorra 86 – 76 on the road to return to victories in EuroCup.

McCollum was quite efficient with 5-8 2-pointers and 4-5 triples plus 8-9 free throws. This was the veteran guard’s second 30+ game in the 2021-22 EuroCup (fourth, including VTB League) since he had a career-high 33 points in a win over Partizan Belgrade. He and teammate Johnathan Motley are the only players with multiple 30+ performances this season in EuroCup.

Motley was sidelined (shoulder) for Loko but Alan Williams stepped up in his absence with season-highs 17 points plus 14 rebounds for his best performance after his return. Darius Thompson also scored 17.

Codi Miller-McIntyre posted 20 points (8-25 shots) plus eight assists for Andorra.

Away wins were the norm Wednesday in EuroCup. In Slovenia, Gran Canaria escaped Cedevita Olimpija 75 – 60 behind a strong defensive performance. Artem Pustovyii (12 points) and AJ Slaughter (10 points) scored in double figures for the Spanish team.

Semaj Christon had 18 points and six assists, Cristiano Felicio produced 18 points plus 10 rebounds as Ratiopharm Ulm routed Buducnost 89 – 68 in Podgorica. For the hosts, Justin Cobbs had 17 points and Petar Popovic scored 16.

Another roadkill took place in Patras, where Valencia brought down the competitive Promitheas 71 – 68 behind 22 points and nine rebounds by Mike Tobey.

The day was concluded with Boulogne Metropolitans’ 99 – 82 victory over Turk Telekom. Will Cummings delivered 26 points to pace the winning side.
