Will Cummings scored 21 points and dished out seven assists as Boulogne Metropolitans beat Dolomiti Energia Trento 86 – 80 on the road to improve its EuroCup regular-season record to 8 – 5 and retain a position in the Top 4 of Group A.
Cummings also made a decisive 3-point play for the 77 – 84 with 1:04 to play. There was no time for Trento to erase that margin and the Italian team dropped to a 1-12 record, the worst in the competition.
Jordan Caroline had 19 points and five rebounds while Cameron Taylor finished with 13 points and six rebounds for Trento. Their team was up 74 – 74 with 3:51 to play but Boulogne made a 3 – 10 run to get the win.
Apart from Cummings, Vince Hunter contributed 15 points (seven in the last four minutes) plus seven rebounds. Tony Crocket and Tomer Ginat scored 12 apiece.
Earlier on Tuesday (8/2) in a Group B game, Bursaspor defeated Promitheas Patras 87 – 76 at home behind 22 points by Andrew Andrews. Dimitris Agravanis had 19 points for Promitheas.
Bursaspor moved to 4-7 and the seventh spot in Group B while Promitheas is now last with 3-9.
