Partizan took control against Metropolitanss to bounce back

Partizan NIS Belgrade prevailed over Boulogne Metropolitans 92 with an 87-72 victory Wednesday for Round 15 of the 7DAYS EuroCup.

Zach LeDay scored 15 points to lead Partizan, Balsa Koprovica had a season-best with 14 points and 13 rebounds and Kevin Punter added 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists for the home team which ended Metropolitans’ five-game winning streak.

Jordan McRae led all scorers of the game with 18 points for Vincent Collet’s squad, Miralem Halilovic added 12 points and Will Cummings tapped 11 points.

Metropolitans dropped to a 9-6 record while Partizan moves up to 10-5 and has already sealed a ticket to the playoffs.

Hamburg Towers returned to victories after surviving Slask Wroclaw’s comeback to grab a 92-86 victory at home. Forward Lukas Meisner scored a season-high with 23 points for the German side, Justus Hollatz added 14 points and 6 assists, Maik Kotsar had 12 and Robin Christen was added to the list of scorers in double digits with 11 points.

Travis Trice led Slask with a double-double of 29 points, 10 rebounds, Aleksander Dziewa scored 21 points and Kerem Kanter posted a double-double of his own with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

MoraBanc Andorra prevailed over Turk Telekom on the road with a 76-83 victory grab a ticket for the EuroCup playoffs with their third straight victory. Andorra used a 0-10 run halfway through the fourth quarter to keep Turk Telekom in check and force them to their third consecutive defeat. Victor Arteaga led the hosts with 13 points and 7 rebounds, while JaJuan Johnson added a game-high 21 points and 9 rebounds for the Turkish side.
