Partizan’s Zach LeDay earned the last weekly MVP award of the EuroCup regular season

Partizan edged Trento 79-63 in the final round of the 7DAYS EuroCup 2021-22 regular season to lock the second spot in Group A and Zach LeDay was the star of the night for Zeljko Obradovic‘s squad.

LeDay paced Partizan to victory on the road with a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds for a total season-best PIR of 30, the higher of any other player in Round 18.

Per EuroCup:

LeDay shined in Partizan’s 63-79 road victory at Dolomiti Energia Trento. He came off the bench to score 20 points on 5-of-9 two-point shooting, 2-of-3 on three-pointers and 4-of-4 on free throws. LeDay added 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 5 fouls drawn for a PIR of 30. His points, rebounds and PIR all set or tied his personal bests in the EuroCup. Andrew Andrews of Frutti Extra Bursaspor also had a PIR of 30, but his team sufferd an 86-89 home loss against Buducnost VOLI Podgorica. Andrews had 26 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 9 fouls drawn.

Alex Perez of Turk Telekom Ankara posted a PIR of 29 in his team’s 95-70 home victory against Hamburg Towers. Perez had 17 points on 7-of-7 two-point shooting and 2-of-2 on free throws plus 1 rebound, 7 assists and 6 fouls drawn. Will Cummings of Boulogne Metropolitans 92, Kerem Kanter of Slask Wroclaw and Jaime Pradilla of Valencia Basket, each with PIRs of 26, complete the top individual performances in Round 18.
