Joventut Badalona is keeping talent Andres Feliz on board with a contract extension until the end of June 2025, the club officially announced Thursday.
Feliz, 24, joined Joventut last season and soon proved to be a valuable piece on a young and talented squad. The Illinois Fighting Illini alumnus posted an average of 7.0 points, 1.7 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 15.5 minutes across 31 Spanish Liga Endesa games in 2021-22, while he debuted in 7DAYS EuroCup with averages of 5.2 points, 2.3 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 17.1 minutes over 16 games.
“I am very happy, very happy, and grateful to the club for all the confidence shown,” said the Dominican guard. “Now it’s time to work to restore all the confidence shown to me. People here are very special, they always support our basketball. They helped us during the season, and personally, being an important part of the team and that makes me feel really good.”
