Alongside 14 returning teams from the 2021-22 season and Germani Brescia back after a one-season absence, Hapoel Tel Aviv of Israel, Paris Basketball of France, London Lions of Great Britain, Prometey Slobozhanske of Ukraine, and U-BT Cluj-Napoja of Romania are the five newcomers set to play in EuroCup for the first time.

The new format introduced in the 2021-22 season earned a repeat for the upcoming edition of the second-tier club continental competition of Euroleague Basketball sending the 20 teams into an 18-game regular-season schedule.

Following the 18 rounds of the double-legged round-robin schedule of the Regular Season, the top eight teams of each group will advance to the Playoffs. Switching to a single-elimination format the rest of the way, the highest-seeded team according to the regular-season standings will earn the home-court advantage in the Eighthfinals, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final.

The last survivor will be crowned champion and punch in a ticket for the 2023-24 edition of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

A few hours following the draw, the teams found out their respective schedules as the calendar of the Regular Season was released.
