London-born Luke Nelson joins the London Lions and the 7DAYS EuroCup

More incoming firepower for the London Lions.

Luke Nelson became the latest addition to the 7DAYS EuroCup participant, the team announced Wednesday. The 27-year-old guard played for UC Irvine between 2013 and 2017. Since returning to Europe, the London-born international player for Great Britain went to Spain, Germany, and France throughout his professional career. Back in London for the next step, he will debut in EuroCup. Additional British talent in the form of Kareem Queeley, Ovie Soko, and Mo Soluade along with Vojtech Hruban, Kostas Koufos, and Josh Sharma shape the solid list of summer signings for the team coached by Ryan Schmidt.

After spending the last couple of seasons in Romania and Georgia, Josh Hawley penned a two-year contract with ratiopharm Ulm inserting the EuroCup in his young pro career. The former player of Tarleton State University adds to the list of summer signings with Robin Christen, Yago Mateus Dos Santos, and Sagaba Konate already confirmed by the German side.

Lietkabelis signed both Estonian Kristian Kullamae and Lithuanian Benas Griciunas for the next season. Packing on the list of additions consisting of Gyorgy Goloman, Paulius Murauskas, Jamel Morris, Stefan Peno, Mantas Rubstavicius, and Zeljko Sakic. Players running it back at the team based in Panevezys are Vytenis Lipkevicius and Gabrielius Maldunas.

Slask Wroclaw inked 21-year-old center Edis Korman to a three-year contract. Already shaping the squad were Maciej Bender, Justin Bibbs, Aleksander Dziewa, Daniel Golebiowski, Jakub Karolak, Lukasz Kolenda, Jakub Niziol, Ivan Ramljak, Szymon Tomczak, and Aleksandar Wisniewski.
