Buducnost conquered London, Bourg remains undefeated

Buducnost VOLI got a huge win against London, while Turk Telekom won in Poland. Promitheas did not allow a bad night at home, and JL Bourg overcame Brescia at the end

Round 4 of the 7Days EuroCup started in Greece where Promitheas Patras won a close game against Viola Towers Hamburg. The home side held off the German team in the final minute to get its third “W” in Group B by 81-77.

After a tremendous first half by Promitheas (45-36), Hamburg got off to a scoring run in the third quarter, but the Greek team held on to get the victory, the crucial buckets were scored but Joe Young and Nemanja Dangubic.

Two names scored more than half the points for Promiteas. Young scored 23 points, while George Conditt scored 22 points and 10 rebounds. Yoeli Childs stood out in the German team with 17 points.

A great game in Wroclaw ended bitterly for Slask since Turk Telekom grabbed a 75-71 victory in the close finish.

After a tie with 4:23 left on the clock, the team from Ankara made a 5-0 run, the hosts didn’t have the correct answer, so the victory went to Turk Telekom now with a score of 3-1, while Slask remains winless (0-4).

Jerian Grant had an all-around game for the winning team with 15 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds. He was followed by Nate Sestina (14 points), who scored an important triple in the final moments, and made a huge block on Conor Morgan with 69 seconds to go.


Jeremiah Martin with 17, Lukasz Kolenda with 15 points led Slask, while Jakub Niziol almost had a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Buducnost got its third win. The Montenegro club played a great game in London and got an important 87-78 victory. The English club stays at only one victory.

Buducnost had a first quarter to remember. A total of 29 points were scored for a big 14-point lead and the guests never looked back.

Trea Bell-Haynes led Buducnost with 21 points, followed by Alpha Kaba who had 16. Aaron White added 15. For the Lions, the former NBA player Sam Dekker scored 15 points.

Isiaha Mike saved Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse with a last-second block to preserve a 71-69 victory over Germani Brescia.

The win improved Bourg’s record to 4-0 as the only undefeated team in the competition while Brescia fell to 2-2. Jordan Floyd with 22 points once more run the show for the winners.
