A crazy match in Riga ends with Ulm beating Prometey thanks to Karim Jallow’s points with three seconds to go

Ratiopharm Ulm survived a big comeback from Prometey Slobozhanske and, with Karim Jallow’s points in the last seconds, grabbed a 106-105 win in Round 6 of the 7Days EuroCup.

Yago dos Santos led the winning team with 26 points and ten assists for a PIR of 39, including the assist for Jallow’s decisive shot.

Ulm’s hero Jallow followed with 24 points, Nicolas Bretzel added 17, and Robin Christen scored 14 points in the third victory for Anton Gavel’s squad in Group A (3-3).

Gian Clavell scored 34 points for the Ukrainian team, with 7/10 from beyond the arc. D.J. Stephens followed with 18 points, Issuf Sanon added 17, and Caleb Agada 16 points in Prometey’s third defeat (3-3).

The German team had an 18-point lead late in the third quarter, but Prometey fought back and took the lead midway through the fourth period.

Ulm went up again, but Gian Clavell turned the score around once more, and with nine seconds left, Prometey had a minimal lead. Jallow scored the winning points with a layup after the great move and passed from Dos Santos.

With a club record, 7Bet-Lietkabelis Panevezys (3-3) defeated Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana (0-6) 104-98 in Group A, with career-high 24 points from Kristian Kullamae and a personal best of 23 points from Gyorgy Goloman.

Amar Alibegovic led the team from Slovenia with 19 points and perfect 8/8 for two points, while Karlo Matkovic and Yogi Ferrell added 17 points each.

After signing a new contract with coach Dusan Alimpijevic, Frutti Extra Bursaspor grabbed a second consecutive win in Group A with a 95-80 win against U-BT Cluj-Napoca.

Onuralp Bitim led Bursa to their fourth win (4-2) with a career-high 26 points, while Derek Needham added 21.

Karem Guzman and Emanuel Cate scored 16 points each in another road loss for the Romanian champions (2-4).

Dolomiti Energia Trento got their first win in Group B (1-5) as they defeated Gran Canaria 75-72 in a chaotic finish.

The host had a five-point lead with 36 seconds till the end, but Andrew Albicy missed a free throw to tie the score with 14 to go. Matteo Spagnolo then hit both his free throws, and John Shurna missed the tieing three-point shot.

Spagnolo led Trento with 13 points, while Diego Flaccadori and Trent Lockett added 12 points each.

Khalifa Diop stood out for the Spanish team with 21 points, and Vitor Benite followed him with 14 in Gran Canaria’s second loss (2-4).

With a strong fourth quarter, London Lions grabbed their second win in a row, with 97-80 over Slask Wroclaw.

Sam Dekker led the winning team with 18 points, while Luke Nelson with 16 and Ovie Soko with 15 points followed.

Jeremiah Martin scored 18 points for the losing side, Kodi Justice added 15, and Conor Morgan scored 14.

Paris Basketball took a first home win with an 87-84 victory over Veolia Towers Hamburg and improved to 4-2. Amar Gegic had 18 points, while Ismael Kamagate added 12, but with 18 rebounds.

Yoeli Childs scored 17 points for the losing side, with Jonas Wohlfarth Bottermann adding 12 with ten rebounds in Hamburg’s fourth defeat (2-4).
