A fantastic first half for Gran Canaria was enough to win in Ankara against Turk Telekom 88-81. The away team scored 55 points in the first two quarters for an 18-point advantage that the Turkish side could not overcome in the second half.

Vitor Benite played an excellent game scoring a team-high 21 points. Conversely, Tony Taylor’s 28 points were not enough for Turk Telekom.

Buducnost also won in group B and is now at the top. The team from Podgorica played excellent defense against Trento 73-58. The Italians had the lead after the first quarter, but it was all Buducnost till the end of the game. Scoring 28 points, and allowing only 11 in the second quarter sealed the deal.

Marko Jagodic-Kuridza played his best game this season scoring 20 points and adding seven rebounds.  Darion Atkins scored 16 points for Trento.

By far the biggest upset of the round is Cluj-Napoca winning against Joventut in Romania. The home side played a near-perfect offensive game and the team from Badalona had no answer.

Leonardo Meindl led the team with 21 points and 10 rebounds. We have to mention Nemanja Gordic who came back from a serious knee injury before signing with Cluj, and now is playing serious minutes for the Romanian side, he scored 11 points and dished out nine assists. Andres Feliz and Pau Ribas both scored 20 points in a losing effort.

Lietkabelis had no trouble against Brescia 79-70. The Lithuanian team already had a double-digit lead father the first quarter. Jamel Morris led the way with 13 points.

Paris Basketball cruised past Slask in Wroclaw with a 77-69 away win. The third one in a row for the French team, as they improve to a 5-2 score, handing the Polish team their seventh straight defeat.

Kyle Allman led the winning side with 26 points and six assists for a PIR of 29, while Amar Gegic added 17 points and six rebounds, missing only one shot from the field (7/8). Аxel Toupane had a double-double with 11 points and rebounds, and MVP of the previous round Ismael Kamagate finished the game with ten and six rebounds.

Slask had four players with double digits. Ivan Ramljak stood out with 12 points, Lukasz Kolenda and Aleksander Dziewa added ten each, and Conor Morgan had 10 points with 11 rebounds.

Hapoel Vegan Friendly Tel Aviv managed to get to overtime in Hamburg but not to win, as Veolia Towers Hamburg dominated the extra five minutes for a 98-91 victory.

Yoeli Childs had a massive game for the German team, leading them to the fourth win (4-4) with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Lukas Meisner and James Woodard followed with 18 points each, while Ziga Samar added 14 points, with just an assist short of a double-double.

Tomer Ginat had a strong double-double for the losing side, scoring 24 points with ten rebounds. Xavier Munford followed with 19 points and hit the shot for overtime in the last minutes of the fourth quarter. Chinanu Onuaku had 11 points, and seven rebounds, and J Covan Brown had 10 points in Hapoel’s fifth loss in the EuroCup (3-5).
