Derek Willis has been named the MVP of the 2022-23 7DAYS EuroCup Round 7, after a massive performance in Reyer Venice’s 78-65 win against Frutti Extra Bursaspor.

The former Joventut Badalona player had his first double-double of the EuroCup season with 19 points and 13 rebounds, with a career-high 31 of PIR, to overcome the Turkish team.

The American forward is averaging 13.7 points and 6.3 rebounds in his third EuroCup season, shooting incredibly well: 60% inside the arc, 50% behind it, and 88.2% from free-throws.

Walter De Raffaele’s team is currently second in Group A with a 5-2 record, just behind JL Bourg en Bresse (6-1).
